Frequently Asked Questions

Please note that as information surrounding COVID-19 cancellation policies and mask and vaccine policies evolve, we will update this page accordingly throughout the spring. Email campinfo@friendsseminary.org with any questions.

My child is on the waitlist for a camp week. What is the probability that he/she will be admitted?

  • Although we are not able to make any guarantees, we will utilize the data from enrollment to determine if there is enough interest to add additional camp groups for particular ages. We will keep you posted along the way.

Are there any discounts available?

  • We offer discounts to current or newly enrolled Friends Seminary students who receive tuition aid. If this applies to you, please reach out to Paige Sweet at psweet@friendsseminary.org to learn more.

My child does not attend Friends Seminary school, is he/she eligible to attend Summer Friends?

Is lunch provided or do we send food in with our child?

  • Summer Friends will provide daily snacks for all, but we require individual lunches to be brought to camp daily. We are a nut-free and seed-aware campus. Please also send your child with a reusable water bottle daily.

Are there early or late hours available for an extended day option?

  • Beyond the camp hours of 9 AM until 3 PM, we offer an Extended Day option from 3-4:30 PM. Please note that if Extended Day is under-enrolled, that is subject to cancellation.
