Programs For 6-11

Summer of Slime

For Children Ages 6 – 11

Science and Slime, what more can you ask for! We we will make chalkboard slime, all new color
changing slime and magnetic slime! A new slime everyday! In addition, we’ll build inventions
like catapults, discover how electricity and circuits work by making conductive dough, and
explore biology as we extract DNA from a banana and dissect an owl pellet. Still want more?
We’ll examine anatomy as we make a model lung and observe a real sheep heart, continue our
exploration of circuits as we send messages via Morse code and build a metal detector to test
objects to see if they are conductors or insulators, and explore wonders of the earth as we
erupt a volcano and experiment with pollination.

Super Scientists

For Children Ages 6 – 11

An entire week to investigate, imagine, and create through the exploration of Biology,
Chemistry, Physics, and Astronomy. We will put the scientific method to the test as we
experiment everything from liquids to create radical reactions and super substances to
modeling our solar system! We will explore the magical world of bubbles where the scientists
will engage in challenges such as making the biggest bubble or tallest bubble tower. Science is
always full of surprises and we can’t wait to share all of these exciting experiments and more
with our SUPER SCIENTISTS!
